Welcome to this forum!  There are several .30-30 barrels on E-Bay right now.  From time to time you can find one reasonably priced in good condition.  Your .25-20 barrel is hard to find.  If you have time, please post some pictures of it.  Someone here, hopefully, will have a .30 cal barrel. Good luck on your hunt!

I check E-Bay and Gun Broker daily for M219/220 parts.  The one problem I find on E-Bay is that most sellers want more for a barrel than a complete gun can be purchased for.  Merry Christmas!

Well I found a 219 with a 30-30 barrel.  The frame is silver or has been nickeled.  Have you ever heard of that?  He wants $250 for the whole thing.  Is it worth it?

I have never seen one of these guns with other than a blue or color case hardened frame.  However, I have talked with one collector who says he has one.  I have found several deviations from factory catalogs that I believe to be factory original.  So...the gun could be original, but whether or not it is, the condition is what determines the value.  If the gun is in good condition overall....no rust....excellent bore....wood not badly cracked or damaged or stock cut....and with matching assembly numbers, then the price would be ok.  Can you post some pictures?  I hope this helps some.  Good luck on your hunt!

You have what I call a First Model Utica M219.  Most likely pre-war. (to you young folks, that means before WWII)  The pictures do not show the barrel length or the entire stock.   Assuming the bore is good, the barrel and stock have not been shortened, then the price of $250 is a reasonable price.  From the close up picture of the action, it appears to me that the blue is just worn.  The action has not been plated.  These early guns are few and far between.  This action design was made from 1937 to about 1967.   It is a nice gun.
