Cocking vs Non Cocking recievers / barrels.
« on: October 15, 2017, 09:06:48 AM »
Picked up a 30/30 with a 220D reciever. Took it home and it wouldnt shoot. Through lurking (then joining) this forum I discovered that the reciever has a cocking lever on it and barrell does not.
Does anyone have pics to post showing the differences between these barrels and recievers? I search bout could not find.
Thanks
Chad

Chad, Here are pictures of the cocking stud attachment to the barrel lug for cocking all models starting with the "B" suffix.  I hope this helps some.  These and many other pictures about these two model guns are in my book.  These pictures show both style barrels, with and without the cocking stud.

Pommagerdai,   Do you have a question or did you start to make a statement?
